Mattie Matters Virtual Conversations – Who is Mattie
This first virtual conversation held on March 5, 2024 features Guild Directors who knew Mattie and Mattie’s Mom, Jeni Stepanek PhD, sharing who Mattie is and focusing on “Peace, Purpose and Play” as a way to frame the stories that make Mattie special to all of us. Mattie J.T. Stepanek, a son of the Archdiocese of Washington, never reached his 14th birthday, yet his spiritual writings and life of faith endure. 2024 is the 20th anniversary of his death and the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Guild is hosting a free monthly online series – Mattie Matters Virtual Conversations – to share Mattie’s life and virtues.
