Msgr. John J. Enzler Celebrated Mattie’s 2023 Memorial Mass

Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kensington Maryland welcomed the Guild on June 22, 2023 for our Memorial Mass of the 19th anniversary of Mattie’s death, and the Guild was honored to have Msgr. John J. Enzler back to celebrate the Mass and offer his homily.

Guild Director Cheryl Kerwin delivered a powerful talk at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Derwood Maryland this spring noting that “Christ goes to His cross and He offers his very life up for our sins; the expiation of our sins.”

2021 Memorial Mass Marking the 17th Anniversary of Mattie’s Death

Mattie talked with God about his purpose. And Mattie shared God’s messages to the world. But Jesus was his role model. Through the Eucharist we see the gift of Jesus – we see the thank you to our Father. We also see the Amen – the YES – that Jesus gave our Father.
