Mattie talked with God about his purpose. And Mattie shared God’s messages to the world. But Jesus was his role model. Through the Eucharist we see the gift of Jesus – we see the thank you to our Father. We also see the Amen – the YES – that Jesus gave our Father.
Mattie strove to say YES. As the hymn goes, “Here I am Lord.” May He help each of us say YES more often.
